Philip Smith BSc(Hons) - Director - S301 - IOSH
Philip has 16 years experience in the asbestos industry in both a practical and operational capacity, having started out as a BOHS P402 surveyor with one of the biggest asbestos consultancy - BES Consulting Ltd.
Philip's roles grew dramatically since then to encompass the Field Service Manager for the South East of England, being responsible for over 30 surveyors, analysts and clients.
He also held the responsibility of training, auditing, reinspecting, client advisement, trouble-shooting and also carrying out Asbestos Awareness courses for the region.
Philip also was involved with the accreditation/quality (UKAS) side of the business.
Philip started Duty to Manage Limited in 2010 to meet the demand for a clear talking company that would facilitate clients / dutyholders becoming compliant with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 under Regulation 4 - Duty to Manage.
